About the Clujana Minifootball Section

Our journey

The CS Clujana mini-football section was launched in 2025, when the club officially affiliated with the Romanian Mini-Football Federation (FRMF). Since then, we have built an active team that participates in two county championships and national tournaments. Mini-football has become the perfect sport for adults who want a structured competitive environment — with clear rules, an official calendar, and a real level of play.

What sets us apart?

  • Official affiliation with FRMF — we are not a neighborhood team, we are a registered club competing in valid competitions
  • Participation in two county championshipsAJM (County Association of Minifootball) and ATS — plus national tournaments
  • Own training base — Baza Clujana in Cluj-Napoca, without randomly rented hours
  • Experienced coach — Florin Pavel directly coordinates the team and tactical program

FAQ

Where are the official mini-football matches?

The AJM and ATS matches take place at sports facilities in Cluj-Napoca and its surroundings. The national tournaments are held in various locations across the country, according to the FRMF calendar.

Do I need to have played soccer to sign up?

We recommend basic football knowledge — minifootball is technically closer to classic football than to futsal. Selection is based on technical skill level.

At what age can I play mini football at CS Clujana?

Our team is mainly composed of adult players (over 18 years old), with a focus on the 25–40 age group.
We do not have an upper age limit.

What is the difference between minifootball and regular football?

Minifootball is played 6 against 6 or 7 against 7, on a smaller field, with a shorter duration. The pace is more dynamic than in regular football, and the running volume is lower — perfect for adult players with busy schedules.
